Yair Levi is a worship leader from Israel, singer, songwriter, and musical producer based in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Yair, a Jewish Levite (a descendant of the Tribe of Levi) who served as a Captain in the Israeli Navy Seals for 8 years, creates a unique mixture of Jewish soul music with his faith and Biblical values. Through his songs, Yair is able to revive ancient music and bring it to today’s world.

Yair’s music and personal journey led him to various musical collaborations with Israel’s leading musicians. Over the years, his journey has taken him across the borders of Israel.

His music creates a connection between people from different cultures and religions.

Yair’s connection to scriptures created one of his most powerful songs, ‘Refa Na’ (‘please heal her’, Numbers 12:13), which he wrote in 2020 for his grandmother when she was ill. The song has reached millions of views on YouTube and was translated into a variety of languages (Chinese, German, Spanish and more). The success of ‘Refa Na’ made him one of the most surprising and diverse singers in the international faith music arena.

One of the most interesting cover versions of ‘Refa Na’ was recorded by the Lebanese Christian singer Carine Bassili, who asked Yair to sing the song with her in Arabic, as a prayer for peace in the Middle East.
